Fossilized coral powder [Coral powder]

FOSSIL CORAL

– CORAL POWDER

Area of production: Yonaguni-Island, Okinawa Prefecture (Japan)

Calcified coral is the fossilized form of coral that had grown for a hundred thousand years in the deep waters of Okinawa and found exposed on land due to the falling sea level. The powder is obtained by grinding the calcified coral. Good-quality calcified corals contain over 70 different kinds of minerals, including calcium, magnesium and iron. This number is almost identical to the number of minerals in the human body. Calcified coral is highly absorbent due to its porous nature and has a purifying property that draws out even the smallest of impurities. It removes the dead skin cells to reveal a clearer, cleaner skin without any dullness.
